Home is a visual project exploring the emotions and experiences connected to different spaces and environments. Through illustration, composition, and image treatment, the project reflects the contrast between feelings of comfort, love, and calmness versus anxiety and emotional unease. Clean lines, soft colours, and balanced compositions were used to represent warmth and security, while rough textures, expressive line work, and black-and-white imagery communicate tension and anxiety. The changing visual language throughout the project mirrors the emotional shifts experienced in different spaces. Beyond the visual exploration, the project also questions the idea of what “home” truly means — examining the difference between a socially defined home and the places where I personally feel the strongest sense of belonging.
